The product lineup includes airflow-driven (jet mill) and mechanically-driven (rotary type) equipment. The characteristics of the airflow-driven type include sharp particle size distribution of pulverized materials, suppression of heat generation during pulverization, and easy disassembly and cleaning. The mechanically-driven type features pulverization to the fine powder level by low-cost operation and the capability to pulverize soft particles and fibrous materials.

Airflow-driven pulverizer Super Jet Mill

The Super Jet Mill is an airflow-driven fine powder pulverizer (jet mill) referred to as spiral or pancake type. With its characteristic pulverization zone and classification zone not found in other companies’ products, it achieves high-efficiency pulverization and high-accuracy classification to deliver pulverized materials of uniform size that do not contain large particles. Sizes down to several μm can be achieved by pulverization and down to several hundred nm by deagglomeration and dispersion. Because the optimum scale-up method is adopted for the pulverization zone and classification zone, both small and large models demonstrate the same performance, which is highly evaluated by customers.

Mechanically-driven pulverizer Super Rotor/Blade Mill

This is a mechanically-driven pulverizer that allows use of pulverizing blades with different shapes according to the characteristics of the raw material. We offer the Super Rotor, ideal for fine pulverizing of plastics, etc., and the Blade Mill, capable of pulverizing raw material containing a lot of elastic or fibrous material.
High-efficiency fine pulverizing in the order of several μm has been achieved by the powerful vortex generated in the narrow gap between the fixed liner with a proprietary groove shape and the high-speed rotor.

Nano/Submicron/Dry type/Adhesion prevention

Our air classifiers are of dry type, and are available in forced vortex and semi-free vortex types. A selection can be made from three models based on the classification point. They can handle various raw materials such as plastics, metals, and ceramics, and are capable of sieve mesh size to submicron level classification.

Swirling airflow-driven air classifier Aerofine Classifier

This swirling airflow-driven air classifier is capable of classifying products at the single micron to nm levels, which was said to be impossible with dry type air classifiers until now. The sophisticated, proprietary shape and 3D vortex and particle behavior control technology have led to the achievement of astonishingly fine pulverization and outstanding precision. The technology and equipment expand the possibilities of powder for customers.

The Turbo Classifier has demonstrated that Nisshin Engineering has the world's best technology in classification.

The classification point can be easily changed from several μm to 100 μm by adjusting its rotor speed because of the optimization of the centrifugal force generated by the rotor and the drag of air passing through the equipment affecting on each particle.
In addition, the high-accuracy classification that other companies have not achieved is also one of its advantages. This is achieved by using the function of "air flow regulation", "dispersion", and "reclassification" as efficiently as possible.

Semi-free vortex type air classifier Eddy Classifier

The Eddy Classifier is a semi-free vortex type air classifier with a simple mechanism. Thoroughly investigating the trajectory of particles in the vortex has realized high-volume classification with a compact but non-driving unit. The classifier boasts classification performance in the order of 100 μm.

The classification point is determined by the vane angle, which can be readily adjusted. Furthermore, this classifier can be maintained easily due to its compactness. Try this equipment if you are having trouble with sieving.

Feeding and Spraying

Micro feeding/Quantitative feeding/Inert gas/Adhesion prevention

Quantitative feeding is a technology that can be used and applied for various purposes. We manufacture and sell micro-quantitative powder feeders. They have achieved feeding in tens of g/h, which is generally considered difficult to stably control, and are also capable of feedback control.

We also offer dispersion feeders and dispersion sprayers that use compressed air or gas to disperse fine powder in the airflow for continuous feeding to a reaction furnace or spraying on the surface of a target object.

Micro-quantitative powder feeder "FeedCon-µ"

This compact micro-quantitative powder feeder is capable of accurately feeding powder at the micro-level.
It meets a wide range of needs from simple equipment to production processes, such as experimental and industrial purposes. The proprietary structure ensures high quantitativity even for powder with adhesive, cohesive, or flushing properties.

Dispa-µR

The DISPA-µR received the Nikkei Superior Products and Services Award. It accurately and stably disperses, feeds, and sprays minuscule quantities of powder.
It is used as a powder feeder in various applications such as the sprayers of spacer particles used in LCD displays and external lubricators that reduces the difficulty in tablet-molding by spraying a lubricant evenly to the mortar and pestle of tableting machines for formulation.

External Lubricating Sprayer

The External Lubricating Sprayer feeds and sprays minuscule quantities of powder both accurately and stably. Powder is dispersed and fed by the same technology as LCD spacer sprayers. Forming a thin and uniform lubricant film on the mortar and pestle of tableting machines is a major feature of this equipment, so it can reduces the difficulty in tablet-molding and minimize the amount of lubricant used in the main constituents.

Matcon's IBC system/High-mix low-volume production/Precision mixing/In-line sieving/Powder handling

As Japan’s sole sales representative, we deal in the Matcon's IBC system from Matcon Ltd. in the UK. A parallel batch system realizes high-mix low-volume production. We sell unique spherical mixers.

They are equipped with a high-speed rotary impeller and low-speed scraper, and are capable of precision mixing in a short time by tilting the mixing tank.

By adding an automatic discharge valve mechanism to the discharge mechanism of the movable container, smooth powder and granule discharge, storage, filling, mixing, cleaning, and conveyance systems can be combined to allow a series of processes to be automated in a dust-free condition.
