Super Jet Mill (SJ)
Machinery & Equipment
The Super Jet Mill (SJ) is a superfine pulverizer that has no moving parts and pulverizes the material with compressed air only. Fine powders are produced by mutual collision and friction using the high speed compressed air injected from the multiple nozzles arranged on the circumference. The regulated air flow prepared through analysis of cyclone air turbulence inside the machine produces particles having narrow particle size distribution with only a limited amount of coarse powder carryover.
Structure
Proprietary internal structure realizing narrow product particle size distribution
Narrow particle size distribution with only a limited amount of coarse powder carryover and even finer pulverization have been realized by equipping the pulverizer with a “pulverization zone,” “classification zone,” and “pulverization-classification channel.”
Simple structure with no moving parts
This equipment has no moving parts inside. It is excellent in ease of disassembly and cleaning and allows easy handling of adhesive or abrasive powders.
Suitable for low-volume pulverization as well
Residual pulverized product does not easily accumulate inside the machine, making it the perfect solution for pulverizing low volumes of highly valuable powder.
Features
- Narrow product particle size distribution
- Easy disassembly and cleaning
- Rotorless
- Abrasion resistance achieved with ceramics (without metal contamination)
- No heat generation
- Processing under inert environment
- GMP/pharmaceuticals compatible
- Low-volume pulverization
Examples of pulverization
Pulverization makes use of mutual collision and friction, allowing relatively hard powders such as ceramic powder to be pulverized. It is also often used for the purpose of deagglomerating metal particles that are highly cohesive.

Equipment lineup offering a wide range of capacity
We offer a wide ranging product lineup from small equipment that processes several tens to several hundred grams per hour (laboratory use) to large production
equipment capable of processing several tons.
The equipment scale-up has been realized with high classification accuracy maintained.
In particular, the small equipment is designed to be desktop size (50 × 30 × 60 cm) and can be installed anywhere.
