About Nisshin Engineering
Breaking new ground in manufacturing with Powder Technology and Project Engineering
Our Business
Want to build a factory/plant
Plant Engineering
We provide engineering services for a wide range of projects of varying scales, from production equipment installation to factory construction.
We will
join as a member of our customer’s projects and provide support throughout the planning, design, procurement, construction, and maintenance processes.
Want to purchase powder equipment
Machinery & Equipment
We manufacture and sell powder equipment that supports innovative material production including pulverizers and IBC (Intermediate Bulk Container) systems, as
well as air classifiers that have enabled the world’s first submicron classification.
We offer total support from testing on actual machines to
introduction and maintenance.
Want to outsource powder processing
Powder Processing Service
We provide outsourced processing such as pulverization, classification, nanoparticle processing, and measurement on behalf of customers who require powder
technology and equipment.
We cater to a wide range of needs from small quantity sample manufacturing to mass production.

Our strengths
01World-class powder technology that has been refined over 50 years since our founding
Floating like a gas at times, flowing like a liquid at others, and turning stationary like a solid under certain conditions: that is how powder is.
Because
of its various behaviors and very difficult handling, powder is sometimes referred to as “a difficult material.”
We have dealt with powder, which is difficult to handle for over 50 years. As the result, we have accumulated achievements in various powder plants and built up experience and know-how related to powder technology such as IBC systems, transportation, pulverization, classification, feeding, measurement, and filling.
We conduct business in a wide range of fields including foods, battery and electronic materials, chemicals, and metals, using powder technology as our core technology. We engage in many projects outside the Group and provide engineering services in diverse industries.
02A group of engineers with strong consulting skills
All our project members are engineers. Engineers in the mechanical, electrical, construction, and other fields take charge of the entire process from design to equipment procurement, construction, commissioning, operation, and maintenance in an integrated manner to support customers from the beginning to the end in factory construction and equipment installation projects.
Project members may have various different careers, from those involved in factory construction for the first time to seasoned workers with in-depth knowledge of manufacturing, and issues and problems to be solved may also vary widely in range.
What is required for the execution of projects is technical capabilities and people who make use of them.
This is why our group of engineers join as
members of the customer’s projects and work as partners in achieving goals together, utilizing our experience and know-how we have cultivated.
03Extensive experience in factory and plant construction
Up to now, we have worked on over 4,000 large and small projects covering not only food factories and powder equipment, but also battery and electronic material manufacturing plants, as well as production equipment for cosmetics, chemical products, and metals.
We handle not only powder factories but also processing centers for boxed and prepared foods as well as convenience store supplier factories. In addition to food plants, we deal with plants in non-food fields and have extensive experience in a wide range of fields related to two keywords “powder” and “food,” which are our strengths.
As a food manufacturer group company, we provide proposals that maximize our superiority through joint demonstration projects with laboratories within the Group, in addition to designs that incorporate the points and know-how of factory and equipment operation from the perspective of producers.
Sustainability
ISO14001
We have obtained the Nisshin Seifun Group integrated certification and maintain an environmental management system based on ISO14001, the international standard for environmental management, and the philosophy behind that standard. We implement environmental protection activities, including the reduction of CO2 emissions and waste, increase in recycling rates, and improvement of water use efficiency, through environmental action plans formulated for each business site according to the aims and targets.
We also conduct internal audits to check compliance with regulatory requirements and the effectiveness of our environmental protection activities.
Independent
auditing organizations certify the effective operation of our system and verify that environmental management is being implemented as an integral part of our
business operations.
Environmentally-friendly design and construction
Recognizing that protecting the global environment is essential for our survival and activity, we actively take the initiative to protect the environment under the Nisshin Seifun Group Environmental Basic Policy, including initiatives to reduce waste and CO2 emissions and to effectively use resources and energy.
We provide factory construction based on our plant engineering technology and experience with the aim of realizing the optimum production structure for each customer based on their business plan. This is achieved by carrying out investigations and analyses according to various requirements related to customer’s business plans, including environmental requirements such as energy saving measures. Naturally, the environment is also a key concern when construction is underway.
Reduction of CO2 emissions
To address global warming, in FY 2021 the Nisshin Seifun Group set medium/long-term targets to be achieved by FY 2030 and 2050. Of the six gases subject to GHG calculation, for CO2, we introduced a CO2-free electric power option provided by the power company at the Kamifukuoka Office in FY 2024, achieving a ratio of 100% of purchased electricity derived from renewable sources.
We will continue to contribute to the construction of a decarbonized society in order to mitigate the impacts of climate change and minimize business risks.
